Prada Spring/Summer 2012 Collection is EL FUEGO!!!

The Prada Spring/Summer 2012 shoe collection is EL FUEGO!!! and I mean that literally .... goshhhhhhh they're soooo hott. The first thing I thought of when I saw them was car racing. *sigh* they're sooo unique and beautiful. some of them are over the top, but I LOVE 'EM.

Trend Alert: Curved Heels

A lot of pictures I saw from fashion week, all have one thing in common. CURVED HEELS. While everyone else looks at the awesome clothing, first thing I look at are the shoes. A lot of curved heels have strutted down the runway at NYFW. Curved heels are not new, Alexander McQueen famously debuted curved heels a few years ago. and in 2008 Prada also had a few in it's spring collection. But now a lot more designers are running with the trend, even affordable collections like Christian Siriano Collection for Payless has some curved heels this season. I just came across these Walter Steiger round toe platform pumps. What do you think about this trend. HOT or NOT?

We all know how much I adore PURPLE .. I am actually quite obsessed with it. I own everything in purple. So When I came across these shoes, my heart literally skipped a beat. I love everything about these shoes, from the color (OBVIOUSLY), to the sexy boxy platform and ruffled heels. These will definitely be the perfect addition to any shoenista's closet. Love It!! -- YSL 'Tribtoo' Pump

I've always love the Suede/Patent combo. It's a beautiful sight when Suede and Patent combine. Came across these YSL 'Tribtoo' Suede pumps with patent leather cap toe. I really like it .. the suede/patent contrast works really well. they are available for purchase at net-a-porter.com for $795

I am in Love!!!!!!!!!!! I saw these shoes and I just wanted to throw on a purple wedding dress and walk down the aisle TODAY, like right now!!!!!!! I looooooooove these Brian Atwood Aurora Embellished satin sandals. I love the white ones, but the blue one really pops too... it could be a bride's "Something blue' ... They are just stunning.

It's BOOTS SEASON!!!!!!

Summer is almost over, and that means back to school, back to work, back to same ol' routines. It also means that it's officially Boots Season again!! Yayyyy!!! From over-the-knee boots to ankle booties to riding boots to Knee high boots. My next post is gonna feature all my favorite boots this season :) So WATCH THIS SPACE

Rain Boots

It's been raining cats and dogs on the East Coast for a little while now, and ive been rocking my rainboots for the past week anytime I go out in the rain. Rainboots are no longer the boring clunky rubber thingies that we used to wear as kids. They now come in fun funky patterns and colors. I'd rather be in the rain with cute rainboots than a cute pair of shoes. I have two pairs and I absolutely love em. the picture below is a photo of my favorite pair ...

I have definitely rocked my money's worth out of these boots. Unless you plan to buy a new pair every season, I would recommend that you spend a little more and buy one that'll last for a long time. I've had mine for almost 3years and they still look new.

Jimmy Choo Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection

Before Manolos and Louboutins there were Jimmy Choos. Jimmy Choo still remains one of the most recognizable names in the shoe industry. I love his new collection. It involves a lot of mesh material and sequins. Here are a few of my favorite from his 2011 winter collection.

New Shoes :)

Ok, so I know I said I wasnt gonna buy any shoes until December, well I slipped up ... Last week had to order a pair of shoes for my cousin and then somehow I ended buying a pair for myself. and that opened the floodgates. I ended up going to bakers website and noticed they were on sale so i ordered another one, then steve madden was having a 30% off sale and then ordered another one... and then during Fashion Night Out Aldo was having a sale and then got one there.. and then walked into marshalls to buy workout pants and i saw another on sale and ... you know how the story ends. anyway.. within a week I ended up with 7 pairs of shoes *hides face* . But I summed up courage and returned one -- (Yayy me) .. so i have a nice even number of 6 :) ... Still waiting on to to be delivered lol so technically I only have 4 :) .... Well no more shoes until December :(
